What it Looks Like to Grow Your Faith in Jesus: Natalie's Story

Natalie has been part of Doxology Español since she was ten years old, and over the years she has watched her faith grow in many ways. But one area of obedience she continually put off was giving. During Kingdom Come, she felt God prompting her to stop waiting. Sitting in service, she turned to her mom and said, "Send me the link." That day, she took her first step of faith.

Just one week later, Natalie received an unexpected raise at work. While she was grateful for the financial blessing, what stood out most was the reminder that God honors our obedience. "It felt like confirmation," she said. "When we step out in faith and put God first, He takes care of us. He provides in ways we don't always expect."

Later, a mission trip to the Amazon gave Natalie an even greater perspective on generosity. She met believers who had very little yet gave freely and joyfully, and she saw firsthand how faithful giving was supporting churches and advancing the gospel. "I got to see where that money was going," she shared. "It opened my eyes to what God was doing."

Looking back, Natalie says the greatest blessing wasn't the raise, it was growing in her trust in God. Her story is a reminder that generosity isn't simply about money. It's about surrender, obedience, and discovering that God is always faithful when we choose to put Him first.
