Celebration Sunday

Recently, our church gathered for a meaningful moment in the Kingdom Come journey... Celebration Sunday. This initiative isn’t about a project or a fundraising pitch. It’s a discipleship journey shaped by Jesus’ parable of the soils and His invitation to let the goodness and grace of God rule every area of our lives.

Throughout Kingdom Come, we’re intentionally addressing the things Jesus says can quietly compete for our hearts... division, distraction, disconnection, and misplaced trust in wealth. Celebration Sunday marked a significant step forward as many in our church responded to that invitation with faith, humility, and obedience.

What stood out most wasn’t just participation, but posture. People stepped forward not out of pressure, but out of a desire to trust Jesus more deeply... especially with areas of life that can be difficult to surrender. It was a powerful reminder that generosity is not the finish line, but a starting point, and that God often does His most meaningful work when His people respond together.

This moment also reminded us to stay grateful and attentive. What God is doing among us is not ordinary, and it’s something we don’t want to take for granted. Kingdom Come is still unfolding, and there is room for anyone who feels prompted to join in, pray, or take a next step.

If you weren’t able to be there, or if you’d like to hear the full message and celebration firsthand, we encourage you to watch the Celebration Sunday video. It captures the heart behind Kingdom Come and where we believe God is leading us next.
