When he asked why they hadn't seen a doctor sooner, the answer was always the same. I couldn't afford it. Confronted with this crisis, Dr. Adamson wondered, what healthcare would be like if cost wasn't a barrier? So he decided to find out. The result is the brand-new Westside Medical Clinic which opens with a revolutionary promise: "If you have a name and a birthday, we're going to see you."

No insurance. No cost. No one turned away.

That dream is becoming reality through an unprecedented partnership between The Hills, Paradox, Watermark Fort Worth, and Doxology. Together, these congregations have launched Westside Medical Clinic, a full-service medical facility offering treatment for minor injuries, chronic disease management, and routine procedures, completely free of charge.

What’s remarkable about this partnership in the healthcare space? Churches are actively setting aside denominational differences to address a pressing community need. Of course, this isn't about any one church getting credit. This is about the Church being the hands and feet of Jesus.

More Than Medicine
