Kingdom Come

From every heart and every home...

a letter from our pastors

What if the next two years changed everything?

Not through a new project plan, but because the grace of Jesus began to rule more fully over every part of our lives? That’s the heart behind Kingdom Come. It’s not just about giving to something; it’s about becoming something. I’m praying we’ll be people who live into Jesus’ vision and bear fruit only He can produce.

We believe God is placing in front of us the kind of opportunity that previous generations prayed for; from open hearts in coming generations, to new partnerships across Fort Worth, to global invitations to contribute to the flourishing of strategic (and surprising) places. Kingdom Come is our response: an all-in invitation to invest spiritually, relationally, missionally, and financially for the sake of the Gospel. At Doxology, we exist to develop Christ-centered people who make a difference. Kingdom Come is the next step in that journey. To continue becoming people who show and tell who Jesus is wherever we’re sent. It’s not a new direction. It’s the next chapter in a mission we’ve been living for over seventy years. Let’s go!

Primary Goal

100%
ENGAGEMENT

We want to see 100% engagement from every heart and in every home toward the Kingdom Come invitations of Jesus.

Kingdom Come is a discipleship initiative in which we hope to see the goodness and grace of Jesus rule the day in each of our hearts and all of our homes to the next generation, neighbors and the nations.

Secondary Goal

$18.5M over two years

Our goal is to see $18.5 million given over two years to fuel Kingdom Come and advance the mission of shaping a legacy, saturating our city, and sending a movement.

We want to develop Christ-centered people whose everyday lives show and tell who Jesus is - through spiritual formation, generational discipleship, and environments that root faith deeply for all of us. This includes core ministries and environments that fuel discipleship for kids, students, adults and families across all three congregations.

We want to multiply Christ-centered congregations and mobilize everyday missionaries in every neighborhood, school and sector of Fort Worth. This includes a permanent facility for our Alliance congregation with a weekday Christ-centered daycare to serve young families moving into that area, and accelerate the financial sustainability of that congregation. It also includes continued investments in at-risk schools, a medical clinic for the west side of Fort Worth, and initial steps toward the eventual launch of a fourth Doxology congregation.

We want to launch people and resources into the world – reaching unreached places, strengthening global churches, and helping millions experience the goodness and grace of Jesus in some of the world’s hardest places. This includes global partnerships across Cuba, Southeast Asia, India and other areas; funding for full-time global missionaries; and the response to an invitation to partner in the flourishing of a country where only 1.08% of the population knows Christ.
